Members can receive advice on common landlord issues 
and concerns through networking among fellow members. 
Landlords, Inc. provides a network to other landlords who
have faced your problems and can offer solutions and 
support as you work through them.

Monthly Meetings
 
General meetings are held on the fourth(4th) Tuesday of each month from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

The only exceptions to these meeting times are in :

January, due to our annual dinner.

June, due to our annual picnic

December, because of our holiday break.
 

These meetings are held at Central United Methodist Church, 
5144 Oak Street, KCMO (enter the west door).

Speakers at our monthly meetings include among many others, representatives from City Hall, the Courthouse, the Housing Authority and Fair Housing Department, lawyers, tax accountants, Police Department representatives, etc.

Favorite topics to rental property owners include 
landlord-tenant laws, tenant screening, property codes, maintenance, taxes, current legislation, and various other issues.

The general meetings also provide a forum to come together with fellow landlords to discuss your own particular problems and learn from your peers.

We also have monthly Board meetings. Prior to becoming an elected board director, members are encouraged to attend the board as  non voting members until the end of the year when the election of officers and board directors take place.By doing so we really appreciate your contribution  to assist the Board in carrying out each agenda.
